Takao Hiyama is the homeroom teacher of [[Yukiteru Amano|Amano Yukiteru]] and [[Yuno Gasai|Gasai Yuno]]. He is also a serial killer responsible for many murders at the beginning of the series. His diary is the "Murder Diary". This Diary gives him information about his victims such as their location and how he kills them.

Suspecting that Yukiteru is a diary holder due to his recent confidence he decides to kill him. He follows his diary's instructions and follows him and Yuno to a construction site. There he goes to the 14th floor and then the roof. On the roof unable to find his prey he checks his diary. When he pulls it out Yukiteru throws a dart at his diary and he dies.

In the anime, Hiyama is captured by Yomotsu and is seen in prison; Yomotsu appears to visit him regularly, much to Hiyama's annoyance, although he does not seem to bear any sort of grudge.

Overview

Takao Hiyama (火山 高夫, Hiyama Takao) is the Third diary owner. Ostensibly the homeroom teacher of Yukiteru Amano and Yuno Gasai, Hiyama moonlights as a serial killer, hunting down defenseless women and killing them with a large knife or machete. He owns the "Murder Diary".

Appareance And Personality

Hiyama is a man of about thirty, with long red hair, tied in a little ponytail, and green eyes.
